A New Domain Name For Your Polls

Today we updated the domain name used for sharing polls to make it even shorter. The domain poll.fbapp.io has been effectively replaced by poll.app.do throughout the app. This shorter URL will be easier to type in a browser's address bar.

Prevent Fraudulent Voting With Facebook Profiles

We recently added a feature to help fight fraudulent voting for popular polls. You can now require participants to authorize the app before they submit the poll form. The app will store participants Facebook profile IDs and validate that each ID is unique. This effectively means that any given Facebook user will only be able to vote once.

Changes To The Poll App

Following the Facebook privacy stories of last week and the European Union GDPR regulation coming into force next month, we made a few changes to the Polls for Pages app to give participants more explicit control on the information they share with poll creators. Here are the changes you will notice starting this week when creating a poll:
